Q. How long will my order take to arrive?
A. Because our website shows the stock we have, it means that you can't order anything which isn't available. This also allows us to get your order despatched the same day it is placed. If you order before 4pm Monday to Friday then the order will leave us the same day and be delivered to you the next working day. Please note that our couriers don't collect or deliver on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Q. How much will my delivery cost?
A. Just spend £50 or more on products and it's totally free to most of the UK. Some Highland and Island destinations have a higher threshold of £100 as our courier charges a higher surcharge for these areas. This is clearly shown in our delivery page and will automatically show in your basket once you have entered your address. Also, we offer free delivery on all orders regardless of value when you purchase Karaoke discs. These are sent using Royal Mail and this free delivery applies to the whole of the UK and Ireland.
Q. Are there any hidden extras in your prices?
A. Simply put… no. We try and make everything as clear as possible and our prices shown on each product include VAT. We also offer free delivery on all discs and all product orders over £50* ensuring no surprises.
Q. How accurate are your stock levels?
A. Each day we receive calls from new customers complaining that the product they ordered elsewhere was never in stock, although the site said it was. However, with Disco World you can be confident that the stock level shown on our website is the actual stock we have available in our warehouse. We don’t direct-ship and the stock levels are updated every 10 minutes.
Q. Why can't I find some products on your website?
A. We are constantly reviewing our product range to make sure that what we have is 'good value' and current. Sometimes we discontinue products, and when this happens we remove them from our website as soon as they are sold out. We also believe in dealing with a select number of brands and building a good relationship with those companies to make sure we get a good service that helps us keep high levels of service to our customers. You will no doubt seen retailers who have websites full of products from everywhere and everyone. We never direct ship from suppliers, we stock the products, we know the products and this means we deliver the products on time without having to rely on anyone else but us and our courier.
Q. Do you have a showroom to see the products?
A. We have a large showroom located in Hartlepool which is in the North East of England where nearly all the products are on display for you to see and take away with you. This showroom is open 6 days a week Monday to Saturday.
Q. What happens if the product becomes faulty?
A. All the products we sell (except consumables) come with a 12 month manufacturers’ warranty and we make sure this is hassle and cost free to our customers. The first thing to do is give us a call or email sales@disco-world.co.uk and we will discuss the problem, then we will need to get the item back to us for testing. Once the fault is confirmed we will ensure the product is replaced or repaired as per the terms of the warranty. It is important that you discuss the fault first - if the items comes back with no fault found we then have no option but to ask for payment to cover the courier costs involved.
