Discoworld was formed in 1999 to sell sound and lighting equipment to mobile DJs. Over the many years of trading we have developed our business to offer a wider selection of sound & lighting equipment to DJs, entertainers, theatre groups, schools, bands and venues. We started in a small office unit until 2001 when we moved to Enterprise House in Hartlepool which offered us two floors of space, but as our business grew so did our need for space, and in 2005 we knocked through to the next door unit. We were happy there until 2011.
In May 2011 we re-located to our current premises at 110 Whitby Street South, Hartlepool. Here we invested heavily to create the ideal building for both us and our customers. As well as offering our valued mail order customers the best possible service, we also offer customers who want to visit us the very best possible experience our industry has to offer. Come and see us and you will get a very warm welcome! You can browse our lighting without us standing over you, and with a computer controlled lighting demo room you can view over 50 lighting effects which run continuously all day. Of course if you want some help, we will gladly discuss your needs and show you individual lighting effects on request and at the touch of a button (well a screen actually).
Away from the lighting room we have a large main showroom on one single floor where you will find everything from budget products to professional PA systems. Whether you are a mobile DJ or a band, a theatre group or a school, we can assure you that we have products in our range to suit your needs.
