Q ::: How long will my order take to come ?

A ::: Because our website shows the stock we have, it means that you can't order anything which isn't available.  This also allows us to get your order despatched the same day it is placed.  If you order before 3pm Monday to Friday then the order will leave us the same day and be delivered to you the next working day.  Always remember that our couriers don't collect or deliver on Saturday's, Sunday's and Bank Holiday's.

Q ::: How much is delivery ?

A ::: We have one of the lowest thresholds for free delivery in the UK, you only need to spend £40 on products and it's totally free to most of the UK.  Some highland and island destinations have a higher threshold of £200 as our courier charges a high surcharge for these area's.  This is clearly shown in our terms and will automatically show in your basket once you have entered your address.  Also, we offer totally free delivery on all orders regardless of value when you only purchase discs such as Karaoke, Mastermix or Mixmash.  These are sent using Royal Mail and this free delivery applies to the whole of the UK and Ireland.

Q ::: Is your website secure ?

A ::: Yes, when you put something in your basket you are taken to our secure server.  When you make a payment it is processed using HSBC Secure E-Payments for on-line orders and SAGEPAY for telephone orders.  The details are so secure that even we cannot see the card numbers.  You can shop with us both on-line and by telephone with the knowledge that your details are never passed to any third party and are completely secure.

Q ::: Is there any hidden extra's in your prices ?

A ::: In simple - no.  We try and make everything as clear as possible and our prices shown on each product include VAT.  We also offer free delivery on all discs and all product orders over £40* so you shouldn't get any suprises.

Q ::: How accurate are your stock levels ?

A ::: Calls we get from customers who have ordered on-line from a retailer when there website says they have stock and they don’t is becoming a daily activity. However, with Disco World you can be confident that the stock level shown on our website is the actual stock we have available in our own building. We don’t direct ship and the stock levels are updated every 15 minutes – so if it’s says 3 are in stock, then we have 3 in stock.

Q ::: Why can't I find some products on your website ?

A ::: We are constantly reviewing our product range to make sure what we have is 'good value' and current.  Sometimes we discontinue products and when this happens we remove them from our website as soon as they are sold out.  We also believe in dealing with a select number of brands and building a good relationship with those companies to make sure we get a good service that helps us keep our service to our customers.  You will no doubt have seen the many retailers who have website's full of products from everywhere and everyone.  This isn't us - we never direct ship from suppliers, we stock the products, we know the products and this means we deliver the products on time without having to rely on anyone else but us and our courier.

Q ::: Do you have a showroom to see the products ?

A ::: We have a large showroom located in Hartlepool which is in the North East of England where nearly all the products are on display for you to see and take away with you.  This showroom is open 6 days a week.

Q ::: What happens if the product becomes faulty ?

A ::: This is when you see our high levels of customer service really take shape.  All the products we sell (except lamps and consumables) come with a 12 month manufacturers warranty and we make sure this is hassle and cost free to our customers.  The first thing to do is give us a call or email returns@disco-world.co.uk and we will discuss the problem, then we will arrange at our cost the courier to collect the item from you for testing.  Once the fault is confirmed we will ensure the product is replaced or repaired as per the terms of the warranty.  It is important that you discuss the fault first - if the items comes back with no fault found we then have no option but to ask for payment to cover the collection and re-delivery charges.  So make sure you check the product and any other items you are using with it to make sure this doesn't happen.
