Discoworld was formed in 1999 to sell sound and lighting equipment to mobile DJs, and has grown over the years to now offer a large selection of sound and lighting equipment for all entertainers, theatres, schools and venues. Although we are only a small business we aim to give you the best possible service available
We only sell from stock
The most important thing to us is that we are always open and honest with our customers, and the biggest advantage we think we have is that we only sell from stock. Our website shows true stock levels that are live to every 10 minutes, and if it says we have 3 in stock, then we have them in stock.
So if you order online or by phone we will only take your money for products we know 100% we can despatch immediately.
Free next day delivery
We do not rely on suppliers to fulfil your order, which means we have total control and can keep our promise of despatching all orders placed by 4pm the same day. What's more delivery is free to most of the UK if you spend £50 or more on products. Some Highland and Island destinations have a higher threshold of £100 as our courier charges a higher surcharge for these areas. This is clearly shown in our terms and will automatically show in your basket once you have entered your address. Also, we offer totally free delivery on all orders regardless of value when you only purchase discs. These are sent using Royal Mail and this free delivery applies to the whole of the UK and Ireland.
We offer a price match promise
We now promise to try and price match any of our main competitors on the UK mainland. We provide an easy form to fill in within the product description page. Our mail order customers can be assured that because we are not just box shifters. we can offer an informed response to any questions by simply looking at the product in our showroom, this combined with our knowledge of many years in the industry, means you get the answer you are looking for and not just a guess. However, on the rare occasion we don't have the answer we won't just make one up - we will be honest and tell you.
